Genesis 4:4-6

⁴ and Abel offered the firstborn of his flock and their fat offerings. The Lord was pleased with Abel and his offering, ⁵ but he was not pleased with Cain and his offering. Cain was very angry and his countenance fell.

⁶ The Lord therefore said to Cain, “Why are you angry and why has your countenance fallen?
